Ghaem Industrial Group Stands Out at Automobility 2022 with Ambitious Entry into Russian Market

According to IRIB’s correspondent in Moscow, the 26th edition of Russia’s International Automotive Exhibition, “Automobility 2022”, officially opened today at the Expocentre Exhibition Complex in Moscow with the participation of Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, the Iranian Ambassador to Russia, as well as top political and economic officials from Russia and other participating countries.
This year’s event marks a historic milestone, as Iran has set up the largest overseas pavilion in the history of international automotive exhibitions, covering over 900 square meters in a 1,700-square-meter hall. More than 50 leading Iranian manufacturers of automotive parts and accessories, alongside major domestic automakers, are showcasing their products with a focus on export opportunities and joint vehicle production.
Our correspondent reports that among the standout participants is Ghaem Industrial Group, the largest liner manufacturer in the Middle East. With over three decades of experience and a strong technical backbone, the company has entered the Russian market with confidence, undeterred by the presence of strong Turkish and Chinese competitors. The company’s CEO and board member emphasized their readiness to expand into the vast Russian market as part of a broader vision for global integration.
For the first time, such a large and coordinated presence of Iranian automotive companies has been organized for an overseas exhibition, underscoring the country’s strategic emphasis on export-led industrial growth.
Automobility 2022 runs from August 22 to 25, hosting over 600 companies from 18 countries across a 30,000-square-meter exhibition space.
